Who do you trust

Is it our perceptions that create our reality, or is the reality we accept the driving force of our perception?
People are judged daily on their appearance as if the way they present themselves is a window into their spirit, but is that only a shadow of what is inside or is their presentation of self image truly a maker for who they are.

My question here is of these two pictures who would you trust and who presents what image.

  1. Definitely do not trust the guy in the bottom picture wearing the monkey suit. Look at that face. He's definitely up to no good.

  2. Yea I would not trust the guy in picture two. He looks like he is plotting something bad.

  4. The outward appearance is an interesting topic to associate with trust. I know ever since I saw the movie “Crash” I'm more aware of my thoughts while walking past someone. If I adjust my purse, avert my eyes, or walk farther away without having any reason. I hope that person doesn’t think I’m doing it because of them. For example when someone tells you not to blink- it’s a natural reflex to blink. I'm so busy thinking of the movie and what I shouldn't do that I end up doing it.
We all judge appearance whether we’d like to admit it or not. As a society we are taught friendly images and unfriendly images. Clean shaven men are suppose to be more approachable. Scruffy men are suppose to be rough. Is it always true? Heck no. Is it how most people evaluate a situation? Yep.
I’m not sure if the picture is of the same person, but I know coming from a female perspective- changing my hair, changes how people treat me. It’s a crazy thing, but people unknowingly react to appearance.
( I forgot to proof my post before posting it the first time)
